Welcome to Yewleaf Wishes.

We are a husband-and-wife team creating handcrafted memorial keepsakes from our home workshop. Our business was born from our own experiences of love, loss, and the desire to keep precious memories close.

Our journey began after the loss of our beloved Border Collie, Cass, who passed away from a heart condition in 2016. Searching for a meaningful way to honour her memory, we created our first pet memorial frame. Over the years, we have also said goodbye to our much-loved Border Collies, Fido and Milly, deepening our understanding of how important it is to have a lasting tribute to those we hold dear.

In 2020, our lives changed forever when we lost our newborn son to a rare genetic condition called OTC deficiency. Later that same year, we faced the heartbreaking decision to medically terminate another much-loved baby boy after learning he was affected by the same condition and would not survive after birth. Through our grief, we found comfort in creating keepsakes that celebrated the love we will always have for our children.

These experiences inspired us to expand Yewleaf Wishes beyond pet memorials and create a collection of memorial products for both people and animals. We understand that every loss is unique, and we believe that every life deserves to be remembered with dignity, love, and care.

Today, we create a range of handcrafted memorial items, including pet and horse memorial frames, memorial candles designed to hold a small amount of ashes, and decorative hanging hearts engraved with paw prints, handprints, names, and other treasured memories. Every piece is individually handmade from scratch using carefully selected hardwoods, including oak, walnut, iroko, and sapele.

As a small family business, we pour our hearts into every item we make. We know first-hand how much these keepsakes can mean, and it is a privilege to help our customers honour the memories of their loved ones, whether they walked on two legs or four.
